Octobereflection

Mengetahui seseorang tidak suka padamu bagaimana rasanya?

Sebagian besar orang saya pikir akan cuek, mudah. Tapi ada sebagian lagi yang seperti saya, memikirkannya, berusaha mengintrospeksi diri -cenderung menyalahkan-, merasa tidak wajar diperlakukan seperti itu. Apalagi dengan alasan yang unacceptable yang cenderung tidak masuk akal.

Tapi bukankah kita memang tidak bisa membuat semua orang suka pada kita?

Bukankah jika semua orang menyukai kita, artinya we don't make any progress/improvement in our life?

Akhir pekan ini banyak pelajaran berharga yang tidak sengaja saya dapat, dari pekerjaan, atasan, film India yang saya tonton, dan pembicaraan menyenangkan dengan teman-teman.

Pertama, bekerja dengan senang hati dan tulus itu benar-benar akan menghasilkan sesuatu yang luar biasa. Dharma dan bhakti, dalam Hindu disebutkan. Bukan masalah reward atau penghargaan dari orang lain, tapi kepuasan terhadap diri sendiri. Kepuasan yang menghadirkan perasaan luar biasa. Reward dan penghargaan hanya bonus, menyumbang 1% dari kebahagiaan yang didapat.

Kedua, saya tercenung ketika mendengarkan atasan saya memaparkan prinsip saya dengan sangat filosofis. "Everything's happened for a reason". Diterjemahkan menjadi, semua yang terjadi kepada kita, itu karena Karma. Kenapa saya pindah ke DJBC dari sebelumnya bekerja di Bapepam selama 10 bulan? Kenapa saya bertemu orang-orang yang sekarang ada di sekitar saya, di hidup saya. Semua dipercayai sebagai Karma saya. Entah mungkin di kehidupan dulu (Punarbawa/Samsara) saya memiliki janji yang belum saya tepati, sesuatu yang belum saya lakukan, ataupun utang yang belum saya lunasi. Saya harus menjalani Karma ini sekarang. Semuanya mengalami perputaran. Apa yang kita kerjakan sekarang, akan membuahkan Karma di kemudian hari.

Ketiga, kembali ke perasaan beberapa teman saya -yang mungkin- tidak nyaman dengan saya. Dalam sebuah film diselipkan pejalaran kalau ketika ada orang yang tidak menyukai kita, membenci, selalu perlihatkan wajah penuh kasih. Kasih sayanglah yang mampu melunakkan kebencian, Dengan bersikap baik dan hormat, tidak akan membuat kualitas diri kita menjadi rendah. Tidak akan berkurang suatu apapun dari kita. Itu hanya akan memperluas hati kita. Have a bigger heart then realize we are only a tiny part of this Makrokosmos (Bhuwana Agung). 

Life Begins at 22 !

Hello world!
I'm turning 22 today! Yayyyy! Very happy.
So many blessings last year. I did write them down in my thankfullness book. And I start write it again this year :). It's so happy that you find your bless being multiple when you start write it down.
Thanks Hyang Widhi for your blessing, your kindness... :')

What makes me happy today :

1. I'm a BIRTHDAAAYYYY GIIRRRLLL! Turning 22!
2. All of your wishes dear friends :')
3. I did my first fasting in 2013 today. Very proud of myself. I planned to do fasting every month :)
4. My bf just came! We had a lovely dinner!
5. Got a beautiful gift from Mbak Widya. Many thanksssssss. :')

And I'd love to write down my plans in the following year (psssttt these are also my resolution in 2013) :

1. Doing Japa Mantra every single day.
2. Fasting once a month.
3. Have a shopping account! NO MORE USELESS SHOPPING!
4. Phillately-ing.
5. Reading minimal 2 books a month.
6. Blogging regularly...WRITING!
7. Be GRATEFUL, less complaining.
8. Start my e.n.d.e.k business :)

I'd  like to say thank you for Ibu, Bapak, Deadi, my dear, and all my friends...I love you all :') Thanks for loving me, supporting me, care to me. May Hyang Widhi blesses you all.

PS : My deepest condolence for riot happened in Sumbawa. Those are criminals, not SARA issue! May God save Balinese people who actually don't know what happened, who their home were burned only because they are from Bali. I always believe Karma does exist.

One Penny

Today I danced. I performed one of traditional Balinese dance. I was asked to help my friend perfomed at an occassion held by her office. Since I didn't have any business, I accept it. I practiced everyday from 5-6 pm after work, went home late (which I hate so much), ate early before 5 pm. It was strange that I didn't feel bothered anymore. I enjoyed that. Even though It wasnt paid, I'm happy. I love to dance,enjoy it,feel great when i'm doing it.
Okay, This is what "love your job first,then great result will comes" means.

Random

Most of my friends mostly said "Wow! you're such a high class person." when I told them about my interest with kinda branded fashion things such as Zara, Mango, etc. High class, oh please, we don't determine people by the price of their outfits. Good taste of fashion? Maybe that's what you mean with "high class". I'm not a rich girl that can buy all of those branded stuffs. I made savings, and still realistic in spending my money . Am I wrong adoring those brands? Me, prefer the quality than quantity. I prefer save my money to buy 1 Zara's than have 10 it's imitations with bad quality which may became trash after the 2nd wear.

Based on my 10 - 16th age experience, I usually prefer cheap items than a good quality one. Yes, I such a stingy teenager. But after that, I hate to wear them, and they became members of the rubbish world.

By the way, there's a lot of local brands with more affordable price and good quality such as Cottonink, Velvet, Bloop - Endorse, Only I, etc. Better save my money for them than fake goods. Or better tailoring my clothes with my own design.

High class. What does it mean actually? The people who spend their money for expensive things? no? Let me define it with someone who have a high sense of fashion :D. Haha!

And me personally think, being fashionable not depends by how expensive your fashion items are, but how good your sense at it.

This is a -keep smoke away- campaign I've found on my friend's status on Facebook. Do read guys! I really support the campaign as much as I hate cigarette. I hate smoke "to the max". I'm sorry for rebuking you smokers when you start smoking near me. The worst is when I'm eating. I like doing culinary at "jajanan pinggiran" when most people smoke everywhere, no smoking area, and hey! of course there will be no smoking area outside. I'm sorry but I personally think you have no manners. I'm sorry for disturbing your right, but yeah I'm disturbed.

Lovable Talk

Just had a late conversation with my bf. It's all about perfectionism and being responsible  to our duty. One question still in my mind, am I that perfectionist? Is it that bad being  perfectionist?
My bf said that he knew I'm a perfectionist person at the first sight. And he such a contra-perfectionist person. On his view: a perfectionist is person who can't hear anything contrast with his/her opinion. He/she believe that the truth and the best is his/her opinion. He/she can't accept any failure. It's hard for him/her to get any criticism.
Am I such a kind of that person? Oh,really?
On my view: being perfectionist isn't that bad. You just have to know the right way to apply that character. I believe, sometimes we need to be perfectionist. Scheduling, managing our life, doing and looking for the best, It does work! But we must learn. In life all the things are always be in two sides. Good and bad. We can't always be good in this life so that success. My bf believes that success and failure comes together as two sides of a coin and so do I. We agree that we could never get success if we never get a failure. How bout fail but don't wanna try anymore? "He/she who has failed will try another way, and it's imposible that he/she can't find the best way to success, the way is always there," he said. Such a great man! :D
Although I'm a perfectionist, I'll learn to make a friendship with failure so I can be friend with it's brother/sister (i can't define the sex of "success" word :3). I'll be open to many many criticisms that make me better and stronger. Oh yeaaa the whole new world, I come....

He : I didn'said that I don't like them. I just don't match them...
Me : Well, you are dating me. Why?
He : Such a perfectionist person. You think that If A same as B, B will same as B exactly?
Me : hmm...In math yess..
He : So?
Me : So...we different each other and you still want me.
He : Okay, we different each other. That's why we match as a couple. You are wrong if you think that a couples is only made with similarity. I prove you that our differences will make us stand stronger.

Today's "Hari Kartini".

In Indonesia, every year at this day, April 21st,  we celebrate an equality between women's and men's right. R.A. Kartini is a woman who made efforts to bring same treatments between men and women many years ago. Since that, women, have same rights, in education, job, choosing, sharing opinion, leading, and many more. I do agree with this equal treatment. But I think as a woman, it's better for me to make an actualization with keeping the nature as a woman. I don't agree with statement giving seats to women as legislative to prove that Indonesia do an equalization between women's and men's right. Give that seats because we, women, are worthy to be a leader. To have a appreciation, we have to tell the world that we, as a woman, competent in it. Not use "equality" as an excuse. Be good by doing good. Let all see that women proper to get the same rights because of our performances.
